Event details
Come join the good gentles of Ynys y Gwaun in celebrating the end of Summer.  Fighting, fencing, archery, thrown weapons, fun and relaxation are in the offing.  There will be an outdoor cooking competition this year.  Come do culinary battle!  Show off your skills!  Enjoy the bragging rights of being the one to cook the best food!

UPDATE:  Rules for the cooking competition

Our goal is simple and fun.  The task will be to create a period sigh within the theme of campaign cooking

You must bring your own water.

As always, there will be a central fire pit.
Cooking fires (within reason) only are allowed in encampments.
Dogs are allowed on a leash, but must be registered with the event steward beforehand.

The legal drinking age on PEI is 19.  Attention is drawn to Paragraph 6, Section 40 of the Act which can be found here https://www.princeedwardisland.ca/sites/default/files/legislation/l-14_0.pdf Any violations will result in the offending parties being asked to leave the site and may also result in contacting the RCMP.
